Our Vision:

To preserve, educate, stay connected with fellow Druzes, uphold the values of the Druze, and practice the Tawhid faith.

Statements From The Current & Previous Board Members:

Druze identity is defined by family values, believes, and traditions that reflect the teaching of the Tawhid summarized as follows:

  • Believe in the presence of one God, our creator; and we are all equal brothers and sisters.

  • Honesty is the first and most important aspect of dealing with fellow humans

  • Help, protect, and uphold fellow brothers and sisters

  • Abstain from false pretenses

  • Abandon worship of anything or anyone other than God

  • Content with God's will whether "we think" it is our belief or not. There is a reason for everything, although we may not know that reason or it may not be apparent to us.

As a Druze organization in the United States, the ADS is bringing its Druze members together to share and preserve their faith, values, heritage, and culture.

- Sue Chaban, Former President of the Northern California ADS Chapter

The goal of the Northern California American Druze Society chapter, as well as the American Druze Society is to preserve, educate, bring communities together and uphold the values of the Druze by practicing the Tawhid faith and unifying the Druze identity.

- Hoda Ballout Boushakra, Vice President of the Northern California ADS Chapter

The American Druze Society and the Northern California American Druze Society chapter has provided a community and space to grow since I was a child. The opportunity to celebrate important events like New Years, religious holidays and Mother's and Father's Day with my community has always been something I've looked forward too.

- Zaina Chaban, previous board member of the Northern California ADS chapter

The American Druze Society aims to preserve, assist and donate to our local and far communities, and unite us together through the values of our identities.
